Change the Lens: Change the Life” Faculty Development Program

Faculty Development Program (FDP), organized by IPDC in collaboration with GTU

The Faculty Development Program (FDP), organized by IPDC in collaboration with GTU, was successfully conducted from August 5th to 12th, 2024, across five cities in Gujarat: Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Bhuj. 

The program was designed for IPDC faculty, soft-skills and personality development instructors, and educators interested in value-based education. Aligned with the National Education Policy’s (NEP) focus on holistic development, the FDP aimed to provide educators with fresh perspectives and practical skills to positively impact their students’ lives. 

FDP Highlights

Inspiring Sessions:

  • Shift the Lens, Transform Lives: This session focused on the transformative power of perspective, showing how a simple shift in viewpoint can lead to profound changes in the lives of others.
  • When Teachers Empower: The story of Mangesh Maskar, a student who overcame poverty to become a top performer, deeply inspired participants. It underscored the life-changing role that teachers play in shaping student success.
  • New Lens, Renewed Life: This session emphasized the importance of adopting new ways of thinking for personal growth.
  • Sharing Best Practices: Faculty members shared their experiences and insights. They also shared how IPDC has helped their students transform their lives.

With over 500 participants, the Change the Lens: Change the Life FDP was marked by active engagement through group discussions, interactive activities, and thought-provoking presentations. Participants gained valuable insights into value-based education, personal growth, and teaching techniques that will positively impact both their own development and their students’ lives. This FDP represented a significant milestone for IPDC and GTU, furthering their shared mission to promote holistic education in alignment with NEP values.
